Consistency. A word so highly associated with success. It’s a word that seems so easy and makes a lot of sense when you hear people talk about it, and it does make a lot of sense… until you have to fight through it. I guess that’s why it’s linked with success, breakthrough.
I have gone through, first-hand, what it means to try to be consistent. So, I don’t need anyone telling me how difficult or how much input it needs because this blog is a manifestation of trying to go through the tests.
But before we talk about how to be consistent or the 1-day scheme to getting a hold of your life and being consistent, what does it mean to be consistent? The first thing most people would say when asked what consistency is, how often. That is correct. But often there is more to being consistent. Have you ever heard someone ask “what’s the consistency of this?” What are the materials that bring this thing together? What are the key components of what you are presenting? It’s another aspect you want to look at because you don’t want to be consistently producing rubbish. While I’d call my self a strong supporter of quality over quantity, I cannot deny that the more you grow and develop, you should strive to make yourself a combination of these two because it’s going to be stellar!
So then, how can we keep this consistency stone rolling?
Tips to build consistency
Find your consistency
What are you serving on the table? How have you tried to develop yourself? These are things people even talk about more now. There are workshops, there’s the internet, there’s practing and research. Build your consistency and quality because that is something nobody will make up for you but rather what you have absorbed over time that makes you up and refects in your work. When you also discover losing points in what you do, explore more ways on how to make them less obvious if it cannot be completely eliminated.
See it as priority
Some times we want to see results in things but we don’t even think of it as something important. Thoughts play vital roles in our decision-making and way of life generally because they translate into our actions. So what do you think of that thing as? Build a mindset and of seeing it as important and start thinking of ways to start probably with the aid of timetables to be accountable with. In essence, be intentional.
Do Something!
Building on the end of the last point, start something. Get to experimenting how often you keep up. Don’t leave the work completely undone and lament about how terrible it’s going. Start and use the beginning you’ve got as a motivation to keep coming back till you’ve achieved what you wanted.
I hope you got something from this post. And if you did, do consider commenting and sharing with others.
Till next time.
